ISNR 2026 Set to Strengthen Global Security Dialogue with 253 Exhibitors and Expanded 28,000 Square Metre Exhibition Space in Abu Dhabi
The ninth edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) 2026 is poised to make a significant impact on the global security landscape. Scheduled from May 19 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), this year’s event will showcase an expanded exhibition area of 28,000 square metres, a 17% increase from the previous edition. The exhibition will host 253 exhibitors, marking a 19% rise in participation, and will feature contributions from 37 countries, including nine nations participating for the first time.
Expanding Participation and National Representation
ISNR 2026 is organized under the patronage of Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. The event is a collaborative effort involving the ADNEC Group, the UAE Ministry of Interior, and strategic partners such as Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters and Rabdan Academy. National companies represent 60% of the exhibitors, while international firms account for 40%. Notably, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) constitute 20% of the total exhibitors, underscoring the event’s commitment to empowering this vital sector.

ISNR 2026 will feature eight core sectors, including cybersecurity, homeland security, commercial security, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee for ISNR 2026, highlighted that this edition will be the largest in the event’s history. He noted that the exhibition aims to attract top decision-makers and experts specializing in modern security technologies.
The event will coincide with the inaugural Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit, which aims to establish the UAE as a global hub for security dialogue and future solutions. This summit will address critical global challenges and transformations, particularly the role of AI and modern technologies in enhancing security systems.
New Initiatives and Features
ISNR 2026 will introduce several new initiatives, including the AI Security Forum and the Code Breaker Hackathon, designed to foster knowledge exchange and explore the future of cybersecurity. These initiatives will showcase the latest solutions in infrastructure protection and emergency response, further solidifying Abu Dhabi’s position as a center for security innovation.
Brigadier General Ahmed Nasser Al-Kindi, Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management Department at Abu Dhabi Police General Command, stated that the participation of Abu Dhabi Police reflects its commitment to enhancing the readiness of security and police work for the future. The department will showcase various innovative projects, including the Disaster Victim Identification Team and the Safe City Artificial Intelligence System.
Emphasizing Physical Readiness and Community Engagement
The event will also feature the ISNR Fitness Championship, aimed at promoting physical readiness and teamwork. Brigadier General Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khayal, Director of the Police Sports Association at the Ministry of Interior, noted that the championship will see participation from 60 teams in the Firefighters category and 46 teams in the Community category. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of physical fitness in enhancing efficiency and readiness.
Global Dialogue on Future Security Solutions
The Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit will bring together over 60 speakers from more than 15 countries, fostering international dialogue on the future of security and national preparedness amid rapid technological changes. Salem Saeed Al-Saeedi, Vice President of Rabdan Academy, emphasized that the summit will focus on strategic themes such as AI-enabled governance and predictive security, enhancing national resilience in addressing evolving challenges.
The summit will also introduce the “Circles of Resilience,” a platform aimed at empowering youth and engaging them in discussions related to AI and security technologies. This initiative seeks to prepare the next generation of leaders in the security and defense sectors.
The ninth edition of ISNR is expected to facilitate numerous agreements and commercial deals, reinforcing the exhibition’s role in supporting national industries and enhancing their competitiveness across various economic sectors.
