Trump and Musk Collaborate to Provide Starlink Internet for Hurricane Helene Victims

However, it was later revealed that the White House had already deployed dozens of Starlink systems in North Carolina, with over 100 more on the way to other affected areas.

Despite being late to the game, Trump’s communication with Musk prompted the tech billionaire to send additional Starlink terminals to North Carolina. The response from Musk and SpaceX has been swift, with the company emphasizing the importance of providing high-bandwidth internet access in emergency situations.

Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc across ten Southeast states, leaving over 2 million people without electricity and causing significant damage.
